Our aim is to be:
- an encyclopedia with background information about hymns and any related information
- a tool to find hymns for a certain church service (suitable to bible text, moment in the liturgy, moment in church year, etc.)
- a reference work for church musicians to find compositions for organ / piano or choir, to every melody of a church song
Kerkliedwiki is a project of Stichting Kerkmuziek Netwerk (Church Music Network), a non-profit organization managed by a board of volunteers with professional backgrounds in theology and music. The project started in 2013 and Kerkliedwiki is filled with information by volunteers.
